All Vive bags are made in a factory owned and operated by the founding family. By manufacturing our own products, the Vive team can constantly keep an eye on quality, and can deliver great prices to our customers. What's more, we listen to customer feedback and can include changes as quickly as possible in new collections. We can experiment more and come up with bespoke items without the constraints of relying on a third-party supplier.
Vive was founded in 2009 by Raoul and Misha Vaswani, two brothers from the UK with a family-owned leather goods manufacturing business. They saw an appreciation for high quality leather handbags and accessories in Belgium, and an opportunity to offer some new designs and concepts at value-for-money prices. They recognised the unique advantage of having control over the supply chain and leveraged their own experience in the family business to create Vive. At Vive, we believe in specialising in what we do best. As a bag and accessories brand, we don't do shoes, clothes, or luggage. And all our prouducts are real leather only. We use genuine European bovine hide from sustainable sources.
